With her debut novel Continuous Cycle, Turkish author Ezgi Tanergeç won the 2022 Turgut Özakman First Novel Award and the 2024 Orhan Kemal Novel Award. In her latest work Salted Face, she repositions humanity through labor and salt, telling a striking story of both personal and societal confrontation. Tanergeç will be on the stage to discuss the bond between human and nature, and truths her novel touches upon through effort and conscience.
