He was born in Bursa. He completed his undergraduate studies at Istanbul Bilgi University. He has held various positions in the publishing industry, ranging from editor to publishing director. He has translated works by authors such as George R. R. Martin, Clive Barker, Jack Kerouac, Jeannette Walls, and many others for publishing houses like Alfa, Domingo, İş Bankası, İthaki, and Siren. In addition to publishing, editing, and translation, he also works on computer games.
