She was born in Istanbul on November 21, 1968. In 1989, she graduated from Ege University’s Department of Textile Engineering. Her short stories have been published in several literary magazines, including Kitap-lık, Notos, Sözcükler, Sarnıç, Öykü Gazetesi, and Öykülem. In 2017, her story Karar received an Honorable Mention in the Orhan Kemal Short Story Award organized by the Nilüfer Municipality of Bursa.

Her first short story collection, Kör Dövüşü, was published by Sel in 2018. Her second short story collection, Ne Yeni Ne Başka, was published by İletişim in 2024 and received the Best Short Story Book of the Year Award at the 9th Antalya Literature Days, organized by the Muratpaşa Municipality. She currently lives in Bursa.
