Elif Yonat Toğay was born in 1968 in Istanbul. She studied at Üsküdar American Girls High School and Boğaziçi University. She has translated books from English to our language. With the 2016 Tudem Literature Award, she transitioned from adult’s literature to children's literature. As a National Geographic certified instructor, she writes stories that raise awareness for school and preschool children.
