Zeynep Kaçar was born in 1972 in Lüleburgaz. She graduated from MSM Theater Department in 1995, and Istanbul University Dramaturgy Department in 1999. Her promotional and critical articles were published between 2000 and 2007. She founded Tiyatro Boyalı Kuş in 2000 and Bab-ı Tiyatro in 2008; she worked in these groups as a writer, director, and actor. Her storybook Tanrı ve Memeli Hayvanlar, published by Doğan Kitap in 2023, was deemed worthy of the Türkan Saylan Art Award in 2024. She continues to work as a writer and actress at Sahne3.
