Feyza Hepçilingirler was born in Ayvalık. She graduated from Istanbul University Turkish Language and Literature Department. She won the Success Award in the Children's Works Competition with her play called Yanlışlıklar and the First Prize in the Short Story Competition with her file called Sabah Yolcuları. She attracted great attention with her book Off, Dilim! in which she criticized the misuse of Turkish. She continues to write in various newspapers and magazines.
